  • Another mother asked President Truman, “Why did my son have to die in Korea?”
  • Another mother asked President F.D. Roosevelt, “Why did my son have to die in Iwo Jima?”
  • Another mother asked President W. Wilson, “Why did my son have to die on a battlefield in France?”
  • Another mother asked President Lincoln, “Why did my son have to die at Gettysburg?”

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news.” Isaiah 52:7 (NIV) I have never been very comfortable in shoes. It really doesn’t matter whether they have great arch support, ultra extreme amounts of cushioning, or how much they cost.
