Doormats Out Of Place

In our increasingly hostile politically correct society, Conservative Christians have become doormats. They have been trampled on by people from every corner of society. Any time a Conservative Christian takes a stand based on their faith and morals, they are attacked and labeled as kooks, bigots, homophobes, or hate mongers.

According to the current social order, the only people allowed to have opinions are the PC police: comprised mostly of the mainstream press, Hollywood, and the liberals. The strange thing is that those who claim to be the most open and welcoming to differences cannot stand it that there are people who are actually different than them. Christians are a threat to them. Conservatives are a threat to them. These groups are enigmas that must be put in their rightful place.

However, I am happy to announce that Conservatives and Christians are no longer sitting by idly as they get walked all over. People are starting to stand up for those who stand up. From Fox News to Breitbart to Madalleine McAulay, fair media and social media is being used to defend the rights of moral people in taking a stand for what is right.

Perhaps it is because people have started to notice the difference in how Conservative Christians approach social issues such as abortion, traditional marriage, and politics. Yes, every once in a while you have a real kook on the conservative side who goes off the deep end and blows up an abortion clinic. And nobody counts the lunatic Westboro Baptist Church (which claims to be part of the Primitive Baptist denomination, not one of the mainstream conservative Baptist denominations). But for the most part, Conservative Christians take a stand in a very civil and peaceful manner.

Then people have seen the violence associated with Liberal groups such as PETA or the Occupy Movement or those nuts who protest the G8 Conference each year. I still wonder why the mainstream press has not reported on the amazing differences between the completely non-violent Tea Party Movement and the extremely violent, illegal actions of the Occupy Movement.

So here's to the people who stand on the moral high ground in support of those politically incorrect morals found in the teachings of Jesus Christ or those found in the original documents of our founding fathers, which were also based on the Bible. Here's to the people who are willing to take a stand regardless of the cost to their own image among the amoral society that others seem to long after. Here's to the people who are moving the doormats out of their place and no longer letting society walk all over them.
