Who Do You Resemble?

Numerous times throughout my life I have been asked to name the people who have made the biggest impact on my life. My response to that question indicates numerous things about me: that I am connected to my family, that I have a strong moral background, that I have had training and education in my specific field of work, that my interests are varied, and that I had ministry mentors. As Jesus taught, those who have influenced our lives have a huge impact on who we become.

That is precisely why it is so important for us to fully understand the training and influences of Barack Obama. He was never vetted prior to or during the last election, but this time people are actually beginning to heed the previous warnings that the mainstream media told us were merely the rantings of lunatics on the fringe of society. Look at those who have influenced Obama the most.

Obama’s father a communist and his mother a liberal had a big influence on his life based on Obama’s autobiography. He was educated in prep schools and Ivy league schools before moving to Chicago where he hooked up with Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, and Rashid Khalidi. Remember the old saying, "If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, chances are it is a duck."

Bill Ayers is best known as the radical, homegrown terrorist who co-founded Weather Underground, a self-described communist revolutionary group, which bombed the U.S. Capitol and Pentagon buildings. Ayers has never shown any remorse for these acts. He even said that he believes they did not do enough.

Ayers was asked in a January 2004 interview, “How do you feel about what you did? Would you do it again under similar circumstances?” He replied: “I've thought about this a lot. Being almost 60, it's impossible to not have lots and lots of regrets about lots and lots of things, but the question of did we do something that was horrendous, awful? ... I don't think so. I think what we did was to respond to a situation that was unconscionable.”

Bernardine Dohrn, married to Bill Ayers, was a leader in the Weather Underground and was on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list for three years. You can read all about her radical history on Wikipedia.

Other radicals such as Rashid Khalidi and Saul Alinsky influenced Obama. While he has tried to distance himself from these radicals as president, then Senator Obama was right in the ring with these extremists as seen in this interview with Ben Shapiro and Joel Polack on the FoxNews Network show Hannity and in a Los Angeles Times article that was referenced in this article on American Thinker.

Saul Alinsky is best known as the radical leftist author of “Rules for Radicals” and the founder of community organizing. Obama, who was a community organizer in Chicago, wants us to believe that Alinsky is a mainstream person. The information below does not look like the beliefs of a mainstream thinker.

ALINSKY: ... if there is an afterlife, and I have anything to say about it, I will unreservedly choose to go to hell.

And let’s not forget the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Obama’s pastor for twenty years, who is shown in numerous videos calling on God to damn the United States for her past actions against people of color. Wright went on to make several controversial statements that even Obama finally denounced while running for office. Wright later said, “Them Jews aren't going to let him talk to me. I told my baby daughter, that he'll talk to me in five years when he's a lame duck, or in eight years when he's out of office.”

These are the teachers and influencers of Barack Hussein Obama. Is it any wonder that he now resembles them? Is it any wonder that he truly believes that no business could possibly exist without the support of the Almighty Government and that businesses should pay more in taxes because they owe their fortunes and successes to the government? Obama is just following in the shoes of fellow liberal and socialist Hugo Chavez who believes that the government can simply take over any business and make it a government run business.
